I Got Punched by a Ghost!

Monday, June 4th, 2007

So. Last night in Edinburgh. A bunch of us decide to go out and take a haunted ghost tour. So we go out to this cemetery, and our guide is telling us about how this cemetery inspired Frankenstein, Dracula, and Harry Potter. How there are over 500,000 people buried here, that it is currently 20 […]

Easter Review: Part Four

(Sorry for the delay. Life is crazy busy right now!)
For the next two days, we travelled all over the Isle of Skye. Climbed many hills, walked many paths, explored many castles. Be sure to check out my Flickr account for hundreds of photos from this trip.

Perhaps one of the greatest parts […]

Easter Review: Part Three

Monday, April 16th, 2007

First stop on our three day tour of the Scottish Highlands was the city of Sterling… more specifically the William Wallace Memorial. In hindsight, this was my favorite stop on the whole tour! Grandma and I climbed to the top. The whole place was very Lord of the Rings - esque.

Easter Review: Part Two

Sunday, April 15th, 2007

After we tackled much of Old Town yesterday, today was all about Prince’s Street. I had already been there many of times so I didn’t take many pictures. We did visit the National Gallery which was new for me but they didn’t allow photography inside so not much to see.

And So Ends March

Monday, April 2nd, 2007

Last week was both heaven and hell.

Thursday: We had our first crits with our new project. One on one with the professor. I presented my ideas, and he really liked them. Plus he gave me great ideas on how to proceed. Radically different from the direction I originally was going to take. But we […]

Hey Doc!

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

So the theory is this. All viruses, bacteria, and other sicknesses in Europe are slightly different from those in America. The symptoms are the same, but your immune system has no idea what to do.
Once one person gets the common cold, it then spreads throughout all international students. Before you know it, everyone is sick […]

Road Trip to Dundee

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007

Our next studio project’s site is in Dundee… it was time to take a class fieldtrip an hour and a half north of Edinburgh to the mighty city of Dundee.

Four of us decided to hire a car (AKA “rent”) which would be cheaper than taking the train. We met at the Enterprise across the street […]
